How Algocence handles the personal information you share with us through this website.
Who we are
Algocence is an applied financial and economic research and development company based in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. In this notice, "Algocence", "we" and "us" refer to the company. You can contact us about privacy at hello@algocence.com.
What we collect
We only collect personal information that you choose to send us through the forms on this site:
- Partnership enquiries and Discuss a Problem: your name, job title or role, organisation, work email, phone number (optional), and the details you write about your enquiry.
- Research access requests: your name, email, organisation, role and the item you are requesting.
- Careers interest: your name, email, area of interest, and any profile link or note you choose to include.
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry or request.
- To assess whether and how Algocence can help, and to prepare for conversations with you.
- For careers registrations, to contact you about relevant future roles.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.
Where it goes
Form submissions are delivered to the Algocence inbox through a third-party form-delivery service (FormSubmit). That service processes the submission only to deliver it to us. Access to enquiries within Algocence is limited to the people who need it to respond.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as needed to respond and to manage any resulting relationship, and in any case no longer than 24 months after our last contact with you unless a longer period is required by law or agreed with you. Careers registrations are kept for up to 12 months unless you ask us to remove them sooner.
Confidential institutional data
Please do not send confidential institutional data, client data or account information through this website. Where an engagement requires institutional data, it is shared only under a written non-disclosure or data-sharing agreement.
Your rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. You can also withdraw consent for us to contact you. Email hello@algocence.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Changes
We may update this notice as the website and our services change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
